High and dry in Borrowdale

This will be short and sweet tonight since I don’t have wifi in the room and I am so tired that I can hardly keep my eyes open sitting in the lobby of the hotel.Bertha didn’t really give us a hard time. Yes, we had rain but no winds and no heavy rain until we were about 500 feet from the hotel that we are staying at. I did manage to get one of my boots completely soak which wasn’t a great feeling about walking with a wet foot for another 8 miles. We stopped by Black Sail to eat our lunch and it was so wonderful being somewhere to sit down and warm up for a short time. (I can understand why you stay there Veronica) Stopped by the Slate museum and to Rosthwaite. It was a long day. Photos will follow tomorrow night if we are lucky with having wifi.
